Hand crafted oak doors made to measure. Period Oak Doors provide a comprehensive range of oak ledged and braced and oak framed ledged doors for delivery nationwide. Whatever your oak door requirements, we are sure to have the oak door for you! Various internal oak doors and external oak doors are manufactured and supplied by us including oak ledged doors, oak ledged and braced doors, oak boarded doors and oak cottage doors. All of our internal oak doors are made from beautiful quality European Oak. These doors are totally bespoke and can be made to any size the customer requires. Framed ledged and braced oak doors are generally constructed using a 120mm x 44mm mortised and tenoned oak frame built into the door to give ample strength and security to an external oak door, this also allows for a five lever mortise lock to be fitted to the door (this is a standard insurance request). Please note that a mortise lock cannot be fitted to an internal oak ledged and braced door. There have been many designs of oak doors throughout the ages and we at Period Oak Doors pride ourselves in working along side the customer in reproducing the style of oak door they require.
